ALUMNAE FOUNDATION INC.

ST. SCHOLASTICAS ALUMNAE FOUNDATION, INC. is a non-stock, non-profit organization of the alumnae of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, founded in 1925.

It exists primarily for the alumnae, the priory and the school: to be of assistance to alumnae in various aspects and during difficult times, to support the priory in its outreach projects and advocacies and to be active in promoting the school and its mission.

SUPPORT CAUSES YOU CARE ABOUT


COMMUNITY PANTRY FOR MANILA PRIORY AND BAGUIO CONVENT

Give what you can, take what you need. The initiative began as a humble cart with free vegetables and canned goods: the grass-roots action aims to alleviate the economic pain the communities are experiencing as they battle one of Southeast Asia’s worst coronavirus outbreaks and lockdowns.


CHILD OF A SCHOLASTICAN SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship program for daughters of Scholastican alumnae who have suffered financial set-backs that might cause to interrupt their studies in SSC. The scholarship provides the support to ensure that the child will complete her Scholastican education.


BLUE FRIENDSHIP FOREVER (BFF)

This fund aims to extend medical and/or financial assistance to financially challenged SSAFI members/Scholastican alumnae with health-related needs.


NIGHT SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Night Secondary Scholarship Program of SSAFI providing complete financial assistance to less fortunate. SSAFI has been providing complete financial assistance (Tuition fee, uniforms (school & PE), shoes (black and rubber shoes) and school supplies) to at least 25 NSS Scholars yearly.


ST. BENEDICT HOME

SSAFI has been giving Christmas gifts to families during Christmas. The less fortunate families all come from the neighboring areas surrounding our school campus; in the nearby areas of Singalong, including the General Services and Security personnel of the School and Priory.
